Camp Fire USA's Camp Tanadoona is rich in history, nature, and personality.
Tanadoona has been located along the shores of Lake Minnewashta, between Chanhassen and Excelsior Minnesota, since 1924. Generations of fun and meaningful memories are part of what makes Camp Tanadoona so special. Today it is alive with the energy of campers running around learning new skills and creating lasting friendships. Each summer our campers and counselors create new layers of memories at Camp Tanadoona, making it uniquely their own. We welcome you to be part of this experience.
One of Camp Fire USA's core values is the belief in the power of nature to awaken a child's senses, curiosity, and desire to learn. This value is what Camp Tanadoona is all about—we dedicate ourselves to giving our campers a fun summer camp experience that they will always remember and that builds their confidence to grow into future leaders.
We offer Day Camp and Overnight Camp.
Tanadoona is a place where boys and girls have a chance to be themselves. A place where they can learn skills that build confidence, grow into stronger individuals, and have fun. All campers receive hands-on instruction within small groups.
