Camp Fire USA Minnesota Council works in partnership with many community organizations to offer youth the opportunity to learn and grow in Camp Fire clubs. These partnerships are designed to reach youth where they already congregate (schools, housing groups, parks, churches, libraries, neighborhood centers).
Our partners appreciate our expertise in leading quality youth-development programs. They also appreciate our ability to tailor activities to meet the specific and individual needs of the youth they serve.
Camp Fire curriculum is used in every club meeting. It offers a clear structure yet each meeting is unique in focus, allowing youth to develop many different skills. The curriculum is designed to create a positive learning environment. View the Camp Fire USA curriculum overview here.
Camp Fire USA trains club leaders to build a club identity among each group of youth we serve. Our club leaders are individuals who are skilled in youth development work. Club leaders go to each club meeting prepared with a plan and all the needed supplies.
Our partners work with youth in many different capacities. They partner with Camp Fire as a way to provide a structured environment for the youth they serve and to enhance their current youth programs.
Our partners provide a meeting space. Camp Fire is portable and adaptable. We bring our program to the youth, wherever they are—school, parks, churches, community centers, apartments, etc. Staff from these sites often assist the Camp Fire Club leader.
