1984 |
Camp Fire begins a new Self-Reliance program in addition to the club and camping programs. |
1992 |
St. Paul Council merges with the Land of Lindbergh Council and the Lake City Council to form the Minnesota Lakes Council. Minneapolis Council merges with the Mankato Council to form the Minnesota Rivers Council. |
1994 |
Minnesota Lakes and Minnesota Rivers Councils merge to form the Minnesota Council. |
1997 |
Camp Fire and the nation celebrate the first-ever Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® - a call to action for all adults to communicate through letters their love and commitment to children on the third Thursday of each March. Bluewater Council of Camp Fire chartered. |
2001 |
The Minnesota Council merges with the Bluewater Council in Grand Rapids. |
2003 |
Camp Fire begins translating its new curricula for small-group programs into Spanish.

2004 |
Club-to-Camp iniative launched, connecting urban Camp Fire club members with nature and camping through special Club-to-Camp events at Camp Tanadona. |
2005 |
Camp Fire USA Minnesota Council launches new partnership club model targeted at serving low-income youth and staffed by qualified, trained professionals. |
2008 |
Chisago City acquires Camp Ojiketa and it becomes Ojiketa Regional Park. |
2009 |
Camp Fire USA Minnesota Council is nationally recognized for program quality and invited to present at the American Youth Policy Forum in Washington, D.C. and at the national Grantmakers for Children, Youth and Families 2009 Fall Forum. |
2010 |
Camp Fire celebrates its Centennial! |
