For the second year in a row, staff and partners from PricewaterhouseCoopers Minneapolis spent a day sprucing up Camp Tanadoona. The day of community service brought more than 150 people out to work on improvement projects at Camp Tanadoona, including Camp Fire youth who participated in the community service day alongside PwC staff. a century of kids. a future of leaders.
For 100 years, Camp Fire USA has been building caring, confident youth and future leaders.
Started in 1910 by Dr. Luther Halsey Gulick and his wife, Charlotte Vetter Gulick, Camp Fire has grown from a small camp for girls to a national organization welcoming and empowering all children and youth. Today, Camp Fire USA Minnesota Council connects children and youth with nature and helps them learn and grow in their own communities.
In Minnesota, Camp Fire provides an array of out-of-school time and summer programs in partnership with housing communities, schools, libraries, and community centers throughout the Twin Cities, as well as at Camp Tanadoona in Chanhassen.
